GEORGE MIFSUD
Captain (Retired)
The son of an NYPD police officer, George Mifsud was appointed to the New York City Housing Police Department on April 30, 1991.

Throughout his career George served in PSA 4, the 9th Precinct, the City-Wide Street Crime Unit, the Organized Crime Control Bureau’s Manhattan North Narcotics Division, the Housing Bureau Special Operations Section, PSA 5, the 83rd Precinct, the 73rd Precinct and retiring in August of 2014 as the Commanding Officer of Patrol Borough Brooklyn North Specialized Units.

While assigned to the Narcotics Division he was a first responder to the World Trade Center attacks on September 11th. George is an NYPD Promotional Exam Subject Matter Expert who has been with the Key since June of 2006.
George is also the present Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Finest Federal Credit Union, which serves all law enforcement within New York State. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
